At the top of the world, you can see the entirety of its beauty.
It wasn’t windy (which is rare, here).
It wasn’t cold or too hot.
It was quiet.
Perfect for a shoot as awesome as this.
It took me a long time to discover the good in Utah. From the blatant wonders, to the hidden beauties, I’ve learned to love this miraculous state and call it my home. The sunsets are other-worldly, these rocks I stood on are globally-known, and in the north where I live, I don’t have to go further than 50 miles to photograph some of the most beautiful landscapes in the entire world.
I adventured down here with some of my very good friends, for a photographic endeavor called Photo Rehab. It’s a SUPER awesome ‘workshop-esque’ envisioned by our very own wonder and one of my greatest friends, Chad. Its debut is taking off this October (there may still be spots available, but they went really fast! Check the website, and see!). I am so happy to be a part of something much bigger than myself. What a fantastic life in a beautiful place.
With every shutter, is an opportunity to learn. Take it!
